Worldwide demand for fresh grape exports from California continues to be high. According to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 2010 exports were 37.4 million 19-lb boxes valued at 618.9 million, increases of 9 percent and 8 percent respectively versus the prior year. The value of exports has been higher in the last five years than ever before.
Each season, the California Table Grape Commission's global marketing campaign arranges global retailer promotions in more than 25 countries from May through January.
